Fighting the Democratic Socialist Agenda
March 6, 2009 | america, american ideals, democracy
Michelle Malkin has the key to derailing the Democratic drive towards Socialism in America:
In large and small ways, we are cutting back. An online Zogby International survey this week reported that 70 percent of households are foregoing movies and restaurants. Forty percent of those polled said they were delaying the purchase of major items such as automobiles, homes entertainment electronics, or a computer; the same percent said they were giving up vacations. Notably, Reuters pointed out, “nearly 80 percent of younger adults, aged 18-29, said they have scaled back on going out, compared to 55 percent of people 65 years and older.”
Pollster John Zogby called the results “depressing.” I beg to differ. Out of necessity, a consumption-based society is learning to live within its means. For decades, government policies fueled that insatiable appetite — and new government programs are desperately trying to preserve it. But the Obama administration’s frantic efforts to encourage more brainless home-buying, car-buying, and consumer borrowing aren’t producing their desired results. Generational theft, it seems, has a silver lining.
Bingo, Michelle! You have hit the nail on the head, as usual. The key to preserving America is to act like Americans. Self-sufficiency, self-reliance and trusting in Capitalism and our Constitution are what has built our nation into the model for the rest of the world, and the same values are what will keep us strong.
The strength of the Democratic party has been dividing us into groups endowed with a sense of victimization, and keeping us dependent on government for our salvation. As long as we believe we cannot take care of ourselves, that we need the Democratic party to ensure that the government will take care of us, the Democrats are strong. These are NOT American values. These are the values of Socialism, values that keep the party in power strong, and the people weak.
We fight this by not becoming dependent. We fight this by being strong, ourselves, and not falling to the idea that we cannot determine our future, that we are NOT victims, but are in control. The people are strong. We can and will come out of our present difficulties if we do not allow the Olbermans and Matthews of the world convince us we are beaten.
Read John Galt’s speech, at the top of this blog. WE ARE JOHN GALT! We are the people who choose life, who love our life, and who do not sacrifice our love or our values. No one can take that away from us if we do not allow them to do so. To quote Michelle, again, “Waste not, want not: Outside of Washington, it’s the renewed American way”
Venceramos!

You know, Ward, I am not a violent man, but in the words of the famous Canadian Folk Singer, Stan Rogers, in his great song “Harris and the Mare,”

My book “Human Rights, What Are They Really?”, which was published by Bradich Books in November, 2008, is an attack on liberalism. Since liberalism is largely disguised socialism it is an attack on socialism. The book gives a true perspective on human rights and develops a comprehensive theory of fundamental rights, i.e., those rights that go with being a person. It also clarifies the role of government in a human rights context and thereby undermines socialist philosophy. However, it also attacks greedy capitalism and points out its chief failing.
The book can only be purchased on-line because of greedy capitalism.
